Stuart Giglia
Stuart is one of CiBUS Group’s Principals, with extensive senior commercial, strategy and investment experience, spanning the retail, private equity, food & beverage, agribusiness, FMCG, technology and online media industries throughout Australasia, India, the UK and the US.
With over 25 years’ experience, Stuart has established a position as a trusted adviser to numerous Australian companies and senior executives.
Prior to joining CiBUS Group, Stuart enjoyed significant senior commercial, M&A and strategy roles within major corporate (Wesfarmers Limited, IAMA Limited, Coles and Kmart) and private equity (Rabobank and Newmarket Capital) operating environments. Stuart is also Chairman of New World Whisky Distillery Pty Ltd, makers of the award winning STARWARD Whisky.
Richard Herbst
Richard is one of the two Principals and original co- founder of CiBUS Group, responsible for driving the day-to-day operations of thebusiness as it continues its growth trajectory.
Coming from purebred beef cattle operations as a child, Richard and his family continue to operate successful cattle interests based in both Canada and Australia.
Richard has a background in Financial Services and Agribusiness, having worked for NAB Limited (Wagga Wagga and Melbourne) and Rabobank (London and New York) prior to moving back to Australia to work within the Landmark business where he had responsibility for theFinancial Services, Real Estate and Insurance businesses. The division generated over AUD$30m of EBIT, with 300 staff across a range of sales, operating and support business units.
